Yorkshire Sculpture Park
Recently celebrating their 40th anniversary, Yorkshire Sculpture Park is one of the leading international centres for contemporary sculpture. Spanning over the 500 acre 18th century Bretton Hall estate in West Yorkshire, the open-air gallery was the first sculpture park in the UK - and the largest of its kind Europe - providing a space to view Barbara Hepworth’s The Family of Man in its entirety, alongside a significant collection of Henry Moore’s bronzes. Not only are the outdoor gardens free to roam, the YSP includes five indoor galleries, hosting year-round temporary exhibitions. Get the opening of Beyond Time on March 30th in your diary; an extraordinary installation of entangled thread in an 18th century chapel by artist Chiharu Shiota.
