With an extensive and eclectic mix out there, it is often a hard task to navigate the music festival landscape. Here at Whistles we have handpicked our top five go-to festivals to get the most out of your summer.
The A.T.P team have joined forces with the Primavera and Pitchfork powerhouses, to fill the void that was left from their final weekender last year. Jabberwocky, a new arts, music and film festival is based at London’s excel centre, boasting an eclectic line up from James Blake, Neutral Milk Hotel and Darkside to a range of unheard new talents for you to discover and explore. This two day spectacle is one not to be missed.

The Governers Ball
Hop on the festival ferry from south Manhattan to Randall’s island and journey your way to a diverse mix of acts blended with your typical New Yorker cool. Highlights include the reformation of Outkast, TV on the Radio and American classics The Strokes.

Not any ordinary music festival, Wilderness is littered with whole host of family activities, from long banquets by Polpo and St John dining room, to debates hosted by School of Life and Huffington post. Guest performances from London Grammar and Jessie Ware are teamed with a full orchestral backing. Take advantage of the on-site babysitters, enjoy the theatre and find some time to relax in the lakeside spa.

Located just outside Amsterdam city centre, in the leafy park of Amsterdam Bos, Dekmantel is a rather new festival with a killer line up, from Jamie XX, Nicolas Jarr and Mount kimbie, stages hosted by Boiler room and Resident advisor. This is the festival to head to if you want a weekend filled with dancing and party vibes.
