Exhibition: Massimo Vitali

The Ronchini Gallery have perfectly timed the May opening of their Vitali exhibition, to collide with the summer fever rising in everyone, everywhere.

Como-born photographer Massimo Vitali is best known for his paradisic panoramas featuring crystal waters, lush vegetation and ant armies of holidaymakers. In-depth, these works explore “the inner conditions and disturbances of normality: its cosmetic fakery, sexual innuendo, commodified leisure, deluded sense of affluence, and rigid conformism”. On the surface, they are exotic sun-drenched snapshots, ripe for summer daydreaming.

Massimo Vitali at the Ronchini Gallery runs from 20th May - 18th June, further information can be found here. Find the nearest Whistles store to the Ronchini Gallery here.
