Exhibition: What you find by Martin Creed
Renowned for his balloon filled rooms, neon lights and his Turner prize winning work ‘lights going on and off’ Creed is back with a diverse exhibition exploring the blurred boundaries of art and everyday life.
Following Creed’s one month residency at the Maltings studios, also in the leafy surroundings of Bruton, the exhibition features an array of site specific works. From paintings, films, sculptures and recordings, this vast exhibition spans all five separate spaces in the Somerset converted farm, offering a fun-filled escape from reality.
Whilst visiting Somerset we recommend eating at Hauser & Wirth's on-site restauraunt, the Roth Bar and Grill. With a constantly changing menu, all locally sourced (herbs and vegetables are grown in the gardens) and take a stroll through the Piet Oudolf landscaped meadows for the perfect ending to your cultural country break.
