Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy

One of our favourite summer rituals is attending the annual Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy.  Every year, the gallery gives its main rooms and halls over to a plethora of contemporary art works, spanning all manner of disciplines, from film to print and sculpture.

Now in its 245th edition, this year’s show comprises over 1000 works, each selected by an expert panel of artists and architects via an open submission process. Some of our favourite installations include Marilène Oliver's 'Dreamcatcher' and Peter Ford’s interpretation of woodcut on handmade paper, entitled ‘Field Games.’

We recommend a long leisurely amble around the show, followed by a visit to our Dover Street store.

The Summer Exhibition 2013 runs until August 18th.
Tickets start from £10.
