Whistles Muse: Vanessa Traina Snow

As the daughter of renowned novelist and couture collector, Danielle Steel, there was no doubt Vanessa Traina Snow was going to inherit a unique sense of style. After a brief spell of dressing like her society counterpart, Paris Hilton, Traina pulled through and is often seen dominating street style blogs, personifying the epitome of chic.

Traina is consultant and muse to school friend Alexander Wang and Joseph Altuzarra, whom she interned with at French Vogue. She always manages to get effortless dressing right through balancing proportions and clean lines, minimal make up and a statement pointed heel.

Her signature style is echoed throughout her own project The Line and The Apartment. Offering a curated mix of refined and modern pieces, which have become Traina’s trademark. Specialist couture paired with vintage Levi’s, a structured mid-length skirt with a delicate cashmere crop. Vanessa leads the way when it comes to perfecting the balance between feminine and directional dressing, and creating her own defined rules in the process.

A San Francisco native, Traina currently lives in New York City with her artist husband Max Snow.
