Product looks in the pictures as if it is going to have a glossy/shiny silk finish but it is more like a meshy material. It’s a nice dress but didn’t quite suit. Other reviews suggested going up a size, which I did and found it too big so may well be more true to size than expected.

I love Whistles' silk bodycon dresses. This is my 6th one. The fabric is high quality, the fit is perfect, and the print is beautiful as always. I was hesitant about the small elderberry print, but it looks much better in person than online. Although this silk bodycon dress fits slightly tighter than my other ones, I was able to fit in my normal size of UK 4. If you're in between sizes, I recommend sizing up.

Lovely style and cut, lovely print - material could be a bit more thick, as this silk is very thin. The sizing is completely off for Whistles body con style dresses - always have to go up a whole size

The dress has a lovely print with nice colours that I like and the silk material used is lovely. The overall design and detailed ruching around the waist area front and back is pretty. The zip running the full length of the dress adds an edge to it.
