Inside The Industry: talk at London College of Fashion
I was lucky enough to be invited along to the London College of Fashion, for an on stage chat with the incredible Frances Corner, who is the very enigmatic Head of the College. She’s also fiercely intelligent and has a brilliant sense of humour. We chatted away for an hour talking about our experiences of the fashion industry, how it has changed, and the challenges we are currently facing. The students then had a Q&A with us discussing the issues they face now, that are actually very similar to the ones that we faced when we started out - mainly, how to get a foot in the door.

Watching: London Spy
We seem to be overwhelmed by incredible TV drama this winter and I hardly have enough time to watch it! My current addiction is London Spy, with Ben Wishaw and Jim Broadbent battling against MI5 and the establishment – it is truly unmissable. The third series of The Bridge doesn’t disappoint either, with the super cool Saga Noren still missing the jokes and making crude sexual references whilst solving the goriest crimes in Scandinavia.
London Fields Lido
If you’ve never swum outdoors in a heated pool in the winter, you have got to try it! I’ve started going to the lido at London fields, which is a short cycle ride along the canal towpath from my house, and it's best when the weather is at its worst – the feeling of rain on your face when doing a length of back crawl is weird but rather wonderful. I then reward myself with eggs on toast at Broadway Market, before cycling into the office.
What I wore…
I attended a fashion fundraiser, to provide bursaries for the University of the Arts students, and spent hours trying to decide what to wear, as I don’t really wear dresses much, and didn’t want to look as if I’d tried too hard. After much trial and error, I found the perfect solution – the new Kelby Kick Flare Trousers (I love this new silhouette), with the ivory Clemence Top, and very high black heels – a simple, laid back, and importantly, still very me. I think it’s so important to feel yourself at all occasions.

Westfield store opening
Our gorgeous new store concept launched at Westfield, White City in early November, and it is so beautiful. Alongside the women's collection you can now shop our menswear range, there’s a lounging area with a huge sofa (for hanging out when your partner is trying things on) and tropical plants everywhere – I love a bit of greenery with my shopping. You must visit for yourselves!

As December ascends, the fresh-faced resort collection hits the shops. My favourite new pieces are the Harrison Striped Sweater, the navy Moore Suede Culottes, and the incredible Ginger Sheepskin Coat – the colours, textures and fabrics are so beautiful that I don’t really need anything else for the entire season…well.
