Obsessions: Seven Signature pieces we love
In celebration of our Signatures collection, we’ve asked some of our Whistles team which pieces are their favourite styles and why. From strokable cashmere sweaters to tailored coats, here’s a round-up of our most-loved pieces to inspire your wardrobe this autumn/winter.
1. Cashmere collection
“For me it's Whistles cashmere. I love the soft luxurious feel, contemporary styles and rich colours of our collection. Our cashmere jumpers are perfect worn dressed up or down.” Creative Director, Nick Passmore.
2. The leather separate
“I love leather separates, in particular skirts and trousers because they’re timeless, grown-up and always on-trend. Leather textures will turn heads and add a touch of luxury this season.” Buying Admin Assistant, Tian-Mei Lee.
3. The Regina sparkle dress
“This is the party dress this year. In an easy-to-wear length and classic design, it’s sure to make a statement. And who says you can’t wear sparkle every day? I’ll be throwing it on over a simple white tee and adding trainers for a more casual look.” CRM & Digital Marketing Coordinator, Meriel Fox.
4. The tailored coat
“My signature item has to be the tailored coat. From a belted style in classic camel, to a standout heritage check, a well-chosen coat can have a transformative effect on your look.” Brand & Content Editor, Charlotte Wood.
5. The barrel leg jean
“It’s hard to find a good pair of jeans but the barrel legs have become a wardrobe staple for me and so many people in the office - we have them in an array of colours now. They’re super flattering thanks to their high waist and neat tapered leg. I love to wear mine with an oversized tee or shirt tucked in and simple trainers for a clean, effortless look.” Head of Communications, Sadie Watts.
6. The Verity backpack
“My signature item would have to be the Verity backpack. It’s practical but also makes a style statement with its cool colours and textures.” Junior Press Officer, Leonora Skull.
7. The shearling coat
“My favourite Whistles signature has to be the shearling coat. It’s cosy, super cool and adds an irreverent luxury feel to any outfit. I can’t think of a better way to stay warm.” Personal Shopping Manager, Aimee Whitehouse.
