I could not be more disappointed. These are more mid rise than high waisted, the waist does not come in so has excess space and the zip is short and not sewn in straight. Poor attention to quality and detail ruins what is potentially a good style and garment. I purchased these because the description suggested the only difference between them and a pair I purchased in summer and love was the colour of the fabric (blue denim v black). The earlier purchase fit perfectly. These are difficult to get into yet I could fit a small child into the waistband with me. Sadly all in store in this new batch are similar. The variation in fit for what is described as the same garment is unacceptable for a high end fashion shop.

Generally, a great pair of jeans. Fabric feels nice, they are a good length and stylish. They’re also made with BCI cotton which is important to me. I have only given 4 stars because mine are slightly baggy on the waist whereas they fit perfect on the hips, thighs and through the leg (this could be my awkward body shape though). Also, I ordered the white colourway and found that the fabric is a bit thin so they are ever so slightly see through. Black underwear would be a no go.
I really like the quality of the jeans, however only issue they are a bit big on the waist but that is always my problem with jeans so I kept them.
They are good quality but unfortunately I had to return them as I felt they were to stretchy for me.

I bought these jeans after my other identical pair lasting a long time. Sadly the quality has really worsened; a stud fell off the first time I wore them, and after two months the zip broke. There were also loose threads and the material is much thinner this time.

Classic whistles barrel shape in soft denim
These are great, ONCE you get the right size. I tried four different pairs, two pairs that were the exact same size, but they were definitely not the same size. The size variation was a complete hit and miss. But if you persist (or lucky), they are a great pair of jeans. The denim is thinner, so good for cooler months.

I bought a pair of these in the first lockdown and they were a revelation - I absolutely love them and so many people ask me where I got them! My endeavour to get a second pair made me aware how lucky I was that first time to find the right size straight away. Ordering the same size again was not the way to go and it’s taken three attempts to find a pair that fit - though not as good as my first pair.
The quality of the jeans is very good. I bought the stretch ones first and the navy non-stretch this time. They are different sizes (30 & 32) but fit the same on the waist. The navy ones are fuller in the leg though.
So comfortable and elegant. I won't be wearing skinnies any time soon!
This is a repeat purchase for me as I love these jeans. I needed to size down due to weight loss. The sizes were extremely variable, I knew I needed a 26 I tried on a size 26 in John Lewis and it was enormous, I ordered a 24 on line to compensate for the hugeness however they were way to small so I ended up returning to a Whistles store to re-try , there is no size 25 but 26 in store fit perfectly, a little frustrating and I found the online size guide wasn’t really fitting my spec either. After reading several reviews it does seem this is a common issue with sizes.

I ordered these is a size 28 (size 10 to those wondering). The fit was tight around the waist. Good length for wearing cropped although I wasn’t so keen on the slightly washed/worn look.

One of the side seams is too far forward.
They stretch after wearing once, to the point that you need a smaller size. If you are not told of this when you buy them then they won’t fit after wearing only one time.

The jeans weren't a right fit for my body shape so had to return in the end. The stitching around the buttonholes seemed a bit poor for the level of quality I was expecting, so not sure what to make of this.
Really lovely fit, I was between sizes but both looked nice.
The zip doesn't stay up, even in the lock position. I contacted the customer service chat about exchanging in store and never got a response. I kept them because I couldn't face the rigmarole of sending them back, waiting for a refund and then ordering a new pair... only maybe for it to happen again? So now everytime I wear them, and the zip comes down I think to myself "these jeans cost £100". It's not a great feeling.

As someone who lives in skinny jeans this is a bit of a departure, but the style is nice, the fit is perfect (I ordered 28 and I am a UK size 10) and I am looking forward to wearing them.

sizing is very small, i ordered a 34 which should be a 16, I order previous items that are 16 and they fit, the leg area is great, it is just way toooooooo small around the waist

These jeans are flattering, comfortable and give off the perfect smart casual vibe. I have bought jeans from Whistles before and they have always been constant in sizing. I'm a 28W and a size 10 and they fit so nice in all the right places. My go to for jeans.

Love these jeans. Such a flattering cut. But the sizing is very inconsistent. In some colours the 24 fits perfectly whereas in others it’s really tight so it can be trial and error to get the right size.

Great fitting jeans. Good colour. No distressed patches as another reviewer had reported. They do come up large. I ordered the 24 and they are a comfortable fit - I normally wear a 25/26.

I already had other pairs of these jeans so I knew I'd like them for style shape and size. When they arrived, I cut the bag open and cut off the labels before I unfolded them, certain there was no possible problem.
When the leg fell downwards I saw a whiteish texture of some kind on the front thigh of the left leg. I stroked it away - but it didn't move and felt strange under my fingers. it was a large and torn patch of very thin fabric. They had not been advertised as 'distressed' - and, had they been, I'd not have bought them.
I decided there was no point in trying to return them as I'd already destroyed the labels and the 'send and return' bag they'd come in - and I'm well aware of the dishonest and exploitive scams that go on in wearing and returning clothes.
I'm disappointed in Whistles' quality control over dispatched orders here - but I will remain a customer as I like and buy a lot of what they do.

Great, good quality denim. The high waist and the leg shape were perfect for my pear shape. I think the jeans would be improved by a bit of stretch in the fabric: we have become so used to this now it was a bit of a shock to not have any at all. On me (5ft7ins) the leg length was too short above the ankle and didn’t look right so that was the only reason they were returned.
Ordered mid blue denim and was sent faded blue with distressed patches which were not apparent in the photo or description. Disappointed.

This is my second pair because I love this fit/style - so flattering! Ordered a couple of sizes as my last pair were made of a stretchy denim and I wondered if I’d need to size up. Kept the best fit and sent the other pair back. Very quick and easy return. I will be buying these jeans in every colour!
Unfortunately these were an odd fit on my. The size 29 was too tight across my hips and thighs but the size 30 too big on the waist. But I like the colour and the quality
