In Focus: SS24 Isle of Eden Sunglasses
Isle of Eden returns to Whistles for another summer, with a curated edit of sunglasses designed to endure the seasons. Crafted meticulously with clean silhouettes, the New-Zealand based brand continues to feel like a modern proposition, focused on considered contemporary styles that will elevate any outfit.
Our other favourite takes shape in the Goldie; a bold unisex frame. Its rectangular form references frames of the 90’s and is sculpted with bevelled lenses and bold temples. The interior of the temples (arms), is set in a clear acetate to show off this season’s art-deco inspired wire-cores. As Goldie is in a black colourway, it is ultra-versatile and you can wear it with almost anything.
New highlights include the Blake; a geometric hexagonal shape with a sculpted brow. The shape references bold 90’s silhouettes and proportions, whilst the hinge pins and wire-cores reference the IE monogram and art deco styling. Blake’s silhouette, along with the finer details, merge classic and contemporary design. Wear with a pared-back look for moments when you want the glasses to pull focus.
As usual, all Isle of Eden frames are made with bio-acetate (bio-based and biodegradable), and come standard with polarised UV protective lenses. Each pair also comes in a recycled leather and latex case.
