For Autumn Winter 2025, we’ve partnered with ESSEN THE LABEL: a brand redefining luxury footwear and accessories. The Whistles x ESSEN collection is born out of a shared ethos — one that focuses on timeless, enduring styles for the modern wardrobe. The five-piece capsule collection brings the footwear label to UK stores for the very first time, reworking ESSEN’s signature silhouettes in new, exclusive finishes.

Founded in 2016 by Creative Director Marre Muijs, ESSEN is an Australian footwear and accessories brand rooted in craftsmanship, responsibility and longevity. Its name, derived from the word ESSENtials, reflects a commitment to simplifying wardrobes with timeless, considered pieces designed to outlast fleeting fashion cycles.

The Whistles x ESSEN limited-edition collection is a celebration of craftsmanship, quality and longevity, offering a modern take on timeless classics in line with the Whistles AW25 colour palette. The label’s signature Foundation Flat is reworked in plum crinkle patent leather and soft chocolate suede, using distinctive textures and enduring, yet of the moment, colours to redefine a classic. The Mary Jane takes on a similar approach, reworked in a deep chocolate and black crinkled patent leather, while The Glove Boot is crafted from a rich chocolate suede and classic black leather. Each piece is handcrafted in Italy, highlighting meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to lasting quality.
