Whistles x Cold Picnic
Run by husband and wife design duo Phoebe Sung and Peter Buer, Cold Picnic has amassed a cult following for its characterful textiles. Unexpected colour combinations meet abstract shapes, in an aesthetic born from the pair’s shared experience across fashion, sculpture, print design and more.
Marking their first collaboration with a British fashion label, the Whistles x Cold Picnic quilt draws inspiration from our seasonal colour palette of mustard, navy, pebble and blush, as well as the English landscape.
“One side of the quilt is based on the British countryside and the other on busy city life in London,” they explain.
“We both have ties to England - Peter grew up in Brighton and Phoebe’s parents were married there, so it was a wonderful opportunity to design a piece based on the English landscape for one of our very favourite British brands.”
