In a sea of diamantes, patent leather, and impeccable tailoring, Highbury’s neighbourhood restaurant, Saltine, laid out a rough-but-polished backdrop for the Whistles Winter 2024 Collection.

“It is such a pleasure to see so many friendly faces and some new faces who continue to support us, not just this year but for the years gone by,” Camille, Product Director of Whistles, said over a raised glass of skin-contact wine. With the sound of clinking glasses, Christmas crackers pulled, and November’s wintery rain tapping at the glass roof, friends of Whistles gathered around a singular yet lengthy banquet table in an airy dining room to mark the beginning of the festive season.
The food that followed was nothing short of brilliant. Mat Appleton and Jess Blackstone, founders of the popular Fink’s cafes with Head Chef Phil Wood from St John Marylebone, are the creative minds behind the contemporary bistro Saltine. Phil’s vibrant, seasonal dishes menu is led by provenance, joyful cooking and sustainability, making for an exceptional feast for this group of party-goers.
Between reconnecting with friends of Whistles over exquisite dishes, we took a moment to document our guests wearing the latest styles from the collection.
