Christie Leigh is renowned for her impeccable taste, not just through her floristry career — where she curates beautiful, whimsical floral displays — but also for her flawless approach to outfitting. This London Fashion Week, we caught up with Christie to spotlight a selection of her favourite pieces from our Spring Summer 2026 Collection, alongside curating an exclusive display in our St Christopher’s Place store.

First of all, can you introduce yourself and tell us a bit about you?
I’m Christie Leigh, a floral designer based in Hackney, East London. I have a little rescue dog called Nova, and we love going to the pub together.

How would you describe your personal style?
My style is kind of garden centre chic with a slinky silk dress… I need my clothes to be quite practical when I’m at work but then, I want to feel like I can also go out for a nice dinner… My clothes have to be a lot of things to a lot of people.
I choose my pieces quite carefully, I prefer pieces that can be styled in different ways. I like to invest in clothes that feel timeless and I hate the idea of buying lots of things just to wear them a few times.

From the edit, which pieces stood out the most to you and why?
I LOVE the pleated wool kilt skirt!! It feels so timeless! I’ll have it as a wardrobe staple for years to come.

Whistles is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. What is your favourite Whistles piece, past or present, and why?
My first Whistles piece (about 1000 years ago) was a black brushed wool knit jumper, and I still wear it today. At the time, it was the fanciest thing in my wardrobe… I always felt instantly put together in it.
