What to wear to Wimbledon

What to wear to Wimbledon

Nothing signals the start of English summer quite like Wimbledon. The Grand Slam tennis tournament kicks off in London this week and if you’re wondering what to wear, we’ve rounded up the must-have styles to wear courtside.

Advantage, dresses

A summer dress is the easiest Wimbledon solution and our latest styles were designed to beat the heat, thanks to their lightweight fabrics and breezy shapes. It’s still all about prints this summer and our Nyla Floral Print Dress is perfect for making a statement. Cut from a breathable silk fabric, it comes in a modern silhouette that exudes sophistication and an irresistible yellow hue. Throw an oversized blazer over your shoulders, slip on a low-heel sandal and add your favourite leather handbag. Don’t be afraid to layer on jewellery with this look too – preferably chic gold bangles or some statement earrings.

Wimbledon whites

More of a minimalist? Align with the all-white dress code of the players for a classic take on Wimbledon styling. Our Louise Check Smocked Top comes with a contemporary square neck and voluminous sleeves to keeps things fresh. Wear it with our Gabi jeans and a pair of snakeskin mules, or opt for our Anna trainers to stay comfortable between courts. For a more elevated approach, our Catalina Check Wrap Dress has an easy elegance that will appeal to everyone. The miniature window pane check has been printed on premium Italian crepe and it comes with a tie fastening to accentuate the waist. The only finishing touches you need here are a refined clutch and some subtle jewellery.

Game, set, match

Our co-ords are the double acts your wardrobe will thank you for. Less restrictive than a skirt suit and a lot cooler (literally) than a trouser suit, this checked two-piece creates an insouciant yet polished look. Boasting infinite style milage, these shorts will look just as good with a simple tee on sun-dappled as they do with a silk cami and heeled sandals. When styling co-ords, opt for a less-is-more approach by keeping accessories minimal and pulling your hair back into a low, messy bun. We’ll be wearing ours with our Resin Chain Leonard Wristlet and a pair of Curved Hoop Earrings this summer.
