It should be pointed out in the sizing information that this item is big fitting because of the elasticated smocking in the body of the dress. I bought petite in size 10. If you are between sizes , I would recommend to size down.

The avery dress is a lovely flattering style. It gives me a lovely silhouette and the runched top of the dress gives it some detail. It flows down and is a great length for petites. I wore it recently to a party and received quite a few compliments. This dress can be dressed up with bright costume jewellery, shoes, sandals boots and trainers if going for the dress down look. Been always happy with my Whistle purchases

Good design but the faded fabric was not representative of the price tag.woukd have preferred a more rich black colour in a silky fabric that draped better, or even a jersey.
