Modern Slavery Act
Whistles is committed to promoting human rights across our business and having a positive impact on our stakeholders and those who work at Whistles.
We firmly believe the work we do reflects our commitment to providing our employees and our supply chain’s stakeholders with dignified work, putting human rights and labour standards at the centre of our programme.
The complexity of modern slavery allows it to exist in many forms. Greater transparency and collaboration with a wide range of different stakeholders will allow us to identify risks, prioritise how to approach the issue and, where needed, remediate in the most effective way.
This statement sets out some of the steps that Whistles is taking to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not present in our business operations and supply chains. It covers the financial year ending 31 March 2018 and has been published in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2017 (the “Act”).
